FARGO, N.D., July 27, 2017—Botlink presented on drone use in the construction industry and demonstrated how Botlink drone software can benefit project managers at the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Texas Administrative Conference in San Antonio, Texas, July 20-22.

Botlink, based in Fargo, N.D., gave a presentation on the benefits of using drones in construction, such as providing a new perspective on job sites that is cheaper, better, and faster than previously used methods. Botlink drone mapping software enables construction companies to survey terrain, monitor progress of job sites, build 3D models, and monitor health of projects such as green roofing projects.

AGC is the leading association for construction with over 26,000 member firms and a goal of improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest. Most attendees of the San Antonio event were members from the AGC Texas chapters. The conference included presentations and demonstrations by companies and individuals on topics within the construction industry.

Botlink team members also talked about drones as an investigative tool and for  violation prevention, costs saving, labor saving, and generating additional revenue by providing drone operations as a service to other construction companies.

Botlink pilots gave a demonstration the following day on how to fly a DJI Phantom drone with Botlink drone control software and also held a Q&A session with attendees.
